Plant Description:

- A rarely seen shrub.
- A recent species of Jacobina.
- Could also be a justicia. Plants bloom at the ends of all growing branches in the winter months.
- A very unusual variety.
- Flower heads have thorns or bristles in them.
- Can definitely be included in mixed shrub plantings.
- These hairy flower heads are long lasting and remain on the plants long after the flowers have faded.
