Plant Description:

- Origin - Asia
- Height - up to 50 m
- Flowering - spring
- Ornamental tree with a narrowly oval crown, found in humid habitats.
- It has brown or grey, slightly flaky bark and long-petioled, finely felty, 3 foliate, leathery leves.
- In spring, with a flush of new leaves, the outermost twigs bear small, erect, terminal panicles of whitish green flowers.
- By the summer, the fruits have formed, they are highly ornamental, being globose, velvety, yellow, sometimes flushed pink like exotic peaches, and dangled
in great masses on long, robust stalks.
- The leaves of this species turn a startlingly brilliant red as they age.
