Plant Description:

- Large woody shrub that can get very tall up to 6 m.
- It is armed with massive forked spines.
- Lustrous green, ovate leaves and large 5 cm white, fragrant flowers.
- Fruit 5 cm long and edible- but not very tasty. Can be made into preserves and candied.
