Plant Description:

Tecoma gaudichaudii, also known as Gaudichaud's trumpet vine or Yellow trumpet vine, is a species of flowering plant in the trumpet vine family, Bignoniaceae. It is native to Chile and Argentina, and is known for its large, showy yellow flowers that bloom in the summer and fall. The plant can grow up to 20 feet (6 meters) long and is often trained to climb on trellises or fences. The leaves are green and glossy, and are typically opposite each other on the stem. T. gaudichaudi is drought-tolerant, requires well-drained soil, and full sun to thrive. It's sometimes propagated by cuttings.
